نامیہ سازی (Nominalisation)

نامیہ سازی (nominalisation) کسی فعل یا صفت کو اسم میں بدل دیتی ہے (decide → decision, apply → application, difficult → difficulty)، جس سے ایک زیادہ رسمی، مختصر انداز پیدا ہوتا ہے جو علمی اور پیشہ ورانہ تحریر میں عام ہے۔

Examples

• The committee will decide next week. → The committee's decision is expected next week.
• They analyzed the results carefully. → Their analysis of the results was careful.
• It is difficult to implement this policy. → The difficulty of implementing this policy is clear.
• The company failed to grow. → The company's failure to grow concerned investors.
